We believe that both science and religion have value, and we encourage thinking with both your head and your heart. Here, we prepare our members to be part of the church now and in the future. We welcome different communities and new ways of thinking because we believe that God is always guiding us.

Our History
Welcome to the heartwarming history of Mt. Sinai Congregational Church, where our story begins with a handful of early residents of the area who believed in the power of faith, community, and unity.
Back in 1789, a small group of visionary souls—six men and three women—gathered together to share their spiritual yearnings and dreams. Fueled by their passion and a shared desire for a place of worship, they took a bold step forward. Through lively discussions and heartfelt exchanges, the Mount Sinai Congregational Church was born. By 1807, the sanctuary that we worship in today was built, solidifying our commitment to a shared space for spiritual growth and community.
Join us as we celebrate our rich history, where the dedication of a few souls in 1789 has blossomed into a welcoming haven of faith, fellowship, and shared purpose.
